Tokyo 7th Subs

Tokyo 7th Subs is a project that translates content from the Japanese mobile game franchise Tokyo 7th Sisters to an English speaking audience.

The project was in active development between the years of 2016 to 2019. As a team of 7 remote members, we maintained a regular release schedule of English translated content to our Youtube channel. Our team translated images and scripts from files available in the game’s download content folder, and then re-compiled them to function with the game engine. Additionally, we also translated various franchise content outside of game such as web articles, comics, and song lyrics.

– Over 100 in-game chapters
– 48 comic strips
– 8 lyric translations
– 7 Web articles
– 3 Voice drama CDs

For a total of over 12.5 hours of Japanese to English translated dialogue.
